Aloha Friday -It's Pumpkin Time
Where I am we are in the first days of Fall . The Pumpkins are ready for the picking.
Your Question:
What do you make or do with Pumpkins in the Fall Season?
I like to make breads and pumpkin pie. This year I think I will create a Pumpkin soup, stay tuned for the recipe.

The only thing I'm talented enough to do with Pumpkins, is hand them to my talented hubby and let him carve them for Halloween. :)
ReplyDeleteWe carve them, and I make pumpkin pie - although I used canned. I think it's better. :)
ReplyDeleteThe only thing we do with pumkins is carve them sometimes and put them out for Halloween. That is about it.

They are usually just put on the steps in front of my house but the after Halloween we through them beside out driveway-- we have one vine growing over there now with 2 pumpkins on it!!

We have a blast going to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins out. We usually carve them (last year, hubby did Darth Vader). It was awesome!

I too love pumpkin. I'm not a nut fan, so pumpkin bread with no nuts, pumpkin cookies, and pumpkin cake.
ReplyDeleteWe go pumpkin picking with the kids each year and then they get to paint and decorate them (since I can't carve worth a darn :-)

ReplyDeleteWe haven't done pumpkins for a long time but are planning to for my mom's big birthday this year. We will make some jack-o-lanterns and make pumpkin seeds :)

ReplyDeleteIn my country we cook pumpkin to to eat with meat. It is very good.
Here in america it seems it's only for halloween and pies.
