Sweet Breakfast Casserole

Once in a while I like to make casseroles for breakfast. One morning Daughter not feeling good and Hubby tending to her, I was thinking what could I make. It was RoshHashana and Something sweet was in order.
Sweet Breakfast Casserole
4 slices of Potato Bread cubed
6 eggs
1/8 cup(2 tablespoon) skim milk
1/8 cup(2 tablespoons) maple syrup
4oz maple sausage cooked and crumbled.
Preheated oven 350 degrees Fahrenheit
small 1.5 quart baking dish.

Put bead in baking dish
Sprinkle sausage on top.
Mix together eggs, milk and syrup. Pour over bread and sausage.
Bake in prepared oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serves 4 people, or 3 very hungry ones.

  1. This sounds really good! I make a breakfast casserole very similar to this only I put in a box of au gratin potatoes. Try that once it's delish.
